Before you create a BedtimeWish for a child, you probably want to know a few things for sure. Here are the answers – as short as possible and as detailed as necessary.
What is a BedtimeWish?
A personal bedtime audio story for one child ages 4 to 7. You tell us the child’s first name and age, choose a story world and, if you like, add favorite things, a companion and a personal message. From that, a new adventure is written for this one child and narrated by a calm digital voice. At the end, a lullaby plays.
Who is it for?
For kids ages 4 to 7. The child whose first name you enter is the hero of the story; language and plot follow the age you choose. A friend, a sibling or a pet can come along as a companion – but the main role always belongs to that one child.
How is the story made?
Each story is newly created for your order with the help of AI and narrated with a digital voice. Your details are woven in by meaning – not every detail has to appear word for word. The story starts with an adventure and gets calmer step by step, all the way to the lullaby. You’ll find more in How it works.
Which story worlds can I choose?
Ten story worlds – from dinosaurs and dragons to ponies and outer space. During the holiday season there’s also a Christmas world. If your child’s favorite isn’t there, you can describe a world of your own in a few words.
How does ordering work?
In five short steps: the child’s name and age, the favorite world, what you’re wishing for your child, personal details, then the summary. You pay with PayPal. Every step that isn’t required can be skipped.
When is it ready, and how do I get it?
Creation starts after your payment. Your BedtimeWish is usually ready within a few minutes, and no later than 48 hours after payment. You’ll get an email with your personal download link, and you can also see the status on your order page. The link is valid for 30 days – it’s best to save the MP3 right away.
What does it cost?
$7.99 one-time. There are no shipping costs, no extra fees and no subscription. You pay with PayPal; BedtimeWish never receives your card or bank details.
How do we play it?
It’s a regular MP3 file. It plays on phones, tablets and computers, and on many speakers and kids' audio players that accept your own MP3 files. You may copy it to your own devices and share it within your family.
What happens to my child’s details?
We only use them to create and deliver your story, and we delete them after a few weeks. We never use them for advertising or for training AI. All details are in our Privacy Policy.
Can I cancel?
Because we start creating your story right after payment, you agree before ordering that we begin immediately – and with that, the right to cancel expires once creation has started. If something is wrong with your BedtimeWish, just email us and we’ll fix it. Details are in our Cancellation Policy.
Does it help my child fall asleep?
A BedtimeWish is a calm story that winds down toward the end – a cozy part of the evening. It is entertainment and a bedtime companion, not a treatment, and we don’t promise any effect on sleep.
